Meet the Chef
Chef Kyle Midgett brings over 20 years of culinary expertise to Randolph-Macon. A Richmond, Virginia native, discovered his passion for food, music, and art early in life and began his career at Colonial Downs. He refined his skills at the Art Institute of Washington and has worked across Richmond, Virginia Beach, Washington D.C., and back to Richmond, gaining experience in prestigious restaurants, hotels, catering operations, and even serving as a private chef for the Governor of Virginia.
Kyle specializes in Southern American cuisine with French influences, complemented by a repertoire of signature recipes developed throughout his career. His commitment to excellence and fine dining defines his approach to creating memorable culinary experiences.
